HARD CORE CRICKET FAN

Posted by webmaster On November - 6 - 2009

My relation with cricket has started when I was in my primary school. I used to watch from the boundary of my school ground where my seniors use to play. I had loved that red cherry and had grown interest to touch that cherry,

i want to strike that handsomely with a bat, I want to slatter the wickets with the a Yorker, but I was too young to think off. My passion towards the sport has been growing with time, but my financial status made my desire more costly. Until I came to my secondary school I was I only concentrated in reforming and grooming my financial status as well as my career in education, but again I was back to my ardent desire towards cricket, but this time I want only to promote cricket in India. For that I have chosen media as my means. I want to have my own website where I can express and share my views. This website was my childhood aspiration. But again I was financially handicapped in developing the site. Again I cant stand up to my desire to promote and inspire cricket in India my current situation, promotes me to raise funds with the help of others. I am hoping to raise funds in order to keep my aspirations alive and to back my interest to inspire the youth in this country where cricket is a religion.

Changing Trends of Cricket

Traditionally cricket is a game of fascination, but mainly for fans. There is always unworthiness carrying in the minds of cricketers regarding the payments. As cricket is a game limited geographically, can’t able to bring collections that can pay high remunerations for its players. But always.

India is an exception. One major out break in this context is the match fixing that involved most popular players in controversy. It is clearly evident by the above scenario that cricket loves no more to the penniless instead ready to break the norms and deceiving the fans and there by demoralizing themselves. That they never going to be gentlemen of cricket. Now, with the upsurge of IPL, trend has changed for everybody’s surprise game of cricket is paying high remunerations that the game never witnessed in the past .for a cricketer IPL is a boon that going to fulfill his greed. Minimum effort maximum money, what else anyone in world lure for easy money, quick money.there is no hesitation foe cricketers to dedicate themselves to IPL. But then comes the national interest. It is up to the players to strike balance or to weight a side.on a pendulum of individual interest versus the national interest.

IPL has lured the players to an extent that some of the great players started thinking of early retirements from international cricket. That prior to IPL was an emotion. Previously no cricketer loves to retire from international cricket they use to feel glory, a real patriotism and fulfillment as a cricketer in representing his nation. But all of a sudden everyone one lost faith in morals, licking to bag bucks. By the current scenario cricket boards fallen in negotiations with their players. Unfortunately boards are trying to reticulate some basics in to their players hoping they better sacrifice their individual interests for the sake of their national interest. But it is hard to convince players in this regard that IPL is making heaven out of their skills.

Although sports are physically played. They require a lot of brain. Just like the cricket requires a lot of attitude and character in playing.

A bowler cant routinely bowl just with skill. But only the extra exuberance and approach that makes him success in international arena.

Many cricketers like don Broadman, Vivian Richards, Sachin Tendulkar had succeeded in the sport despite of unpredictability of the game. Not just because of their insurmountable skill, but also with extra flavor of character, and the desire to dominate the opponent.

Through the history lane we have witnessed hardcore cricketers on the ground who are gentlemen outside. So a real cricketing brain is something that who plans the strategy well and implements it on the ground with ardent.

Spirits ultimately more than a cricketer a captain of the team requires a good cricketing brain

In the world of completion and busy life no one can expect a sport that consumes five days. It is ridiculous to believe in it, at least for an outside who initially focus on physical aspects of the game. And rest of cricketing world, which mainly habituated of watching some ethereal games can never even think cricket.

In this context cricket needs to modify a lot to reach those people who thinks cricket as game of a madman. The first and fore most change would be the chronology. But, none could have expected years back that the game would have curtailed to 20-20 over a side, on contrary a test match consumes 450 overs.

A constant drift from a test match format to T20 has witnessed a gradual deduction of time span along with the other aspects of the game. So in order to familiarize cricket through out the globe time factor is the most important factor of the game that influenced the viewers since its birth and in the future.

ICC Champions Trophy 2009

Match: England vs South Africa

Venue: Centurion, Tshwane, SA,

England have done extremely well to reach 323 for 8 at the end of their 50 overs. They pace was set by Strauss and Denly who got them off to a flier. But the major talking point of the match so far was the 163 run stand between Owais Shah and Paul Collingwood that set them up for a big finish much like Malik and Yousuf’s effort for Pakistan yesterday. That was followed by a brisk 67 off 34 balls which helped England get over the 320 run mark. This looks like a winning total but you can never count South Africa out with the big hitting batsmen they possess in their ranks. It should be a great second innings…

The crucial Group B tie between hosts, South Africa and England from Centurion in ICC Champions Trophy 2009. It’s a must win game for the hosts as a defeat here could seal their exit from the tournament. A win for South Africa would put them back at the top spot in the Reliance Mobile ICC ODI rankings but a defeat would drop them into third behind India. It should be a great encounter with much to play for teams.
