India A Cricketing World Within

India is a place where cricket is highly respected, it’s a place where cricket is a religion and worshiped there the people live and die for cricket.

Cricket is played in streets, gullies, slums, sub-urban and even in rural areas. Cricket is extended as a passion to all corners of the masseur country. Irrespective of linguistic and cultural barriers cricket has integrated the country. But for the remaining world it was a strange feeling to play cricket in India.

Playing cricket in the midst of packed stadium was a unique feeling and was a challenging situation for them. The home team is always favorites to win here and they are thoroughly supported by the boisterous crowds. Players are superstars and heroes who has stolen hearts of millions.

They are welcomed to grounds on decibels. These stars are respected and are expected to perform all the time. They come on to ground as a whole in perspective of a cricketer who visited India for the first time to play cricket here was a unique experience and obvious feels India is a cricketing world within.

Traditionally cricket is a game of fascination, but mainly for fans. There is always unworthiness carrying in the minds of cricketers regarding the payments. As cricket is a game limited geographically, can’t able to bring collections that can pay high remunerations for its players. But always.

India is an exception. One major out break in this context is the match fixing that involved most popular players in controversy. It is clearly evident by the above scenario that cricket loves no more to the penniless instead ready to break the norms and deceiving the fans and there by demoralizing themselves. That they never going to be gentlemen of cricket. Now, with the upsurge of IPL, trend has changed for everybody’s surprise game of cricket is paying high remunerations that the game never witnessed in the past .for a cricketer IPL is a boon that going to fulfill his greed. Minimum effort maximum money, what else anyone in world lure for easy money, quick money.there is no hesitation foe cricketers to dedicate themselves to IPL. But then comes the national interest. It is up to the players to strike balance or to weight a side.on a pendulum of individual interest versus the national interest.

IPL has lured the players to an extent that some of the great players started thinking of early retirements from international cricket.That prior to IPL was an emotion. Previously no cricketer loves to retire from international cricket they use to feel glory, a real patriotism and fulfillment as a cricketer in representing his nation. But all of a sudden everyone one lost faith in morals, licking to bag bucks. By the current scenario cricket boards fallen in negotiations with their players. Unfortunately boards are trying to reticulate some basics in to their players hoping they better sacrifice their individual interests for the sake of their national interest. But it is hard to convince players in this regard that IPL is making heaven out of their skills.
